Last night I went dancing again. And it was good to see a couple more familiar faces that weren't there last week.
There were less people but the Tiger Lady was there! But without her man. I did check the corners of the hall just in case there were the remains of a mauled carcass somewhere, but there was nothing. Maybe she ate him whole! 88|
Back to the latin jive, I am enjoying it- I am very good at following the instructions and performing what is asked of me, which this week included a little drop where the lady has to lean on me and I have to take her weight- which is OK for some ladies, but not as OK for others!! ;)
After the 'lesson' there is time for freestyling, where you can do what you want. I wanted to go next door for a pint, but that wasn't allowed. It's a Ladies' excuse me, so I was grabbed often. However my problem is this..... I can follow the format extremely well. You teach me, I will do it. but I can't freestyle for Buggery. I go all over the place and appear to have more arms than an arm- (A good reason to avoid the tiger lady). So I ended up saying "Why don't we practice the routine" several times. I think I got away with it!!!!!
