Starts and ends

by cj592 @ 2008-01-15 - 22:34:53

Starting- the road works just outside my house on the road I have to take to work. Thankfully tonight it didn't seem too bad. I just hope that continues
Ending- my anti-biotics. I have done the complete course, a whole week. And has it cleared up my man flu? Has it buggery! I will just have to hope that it goes of it's own free will. Maybe in a month if I still have the symptoms I will go back to the doctor and try again.
Also ended- Silent Hill Origins. I finished that PSP game. It was good fun, I love the puzzles in it, but not so much the monsters that jump on your groin and wiggle 'til you bleed- I get enough of that at home!
Never ending- PS3 game Oblivion. I have been playing it for months. I keep finding loads of quests. Luckily my character is quite powerful now.
Non-starter- my job hunting. I really should pul my finger out (However it got stuck there I will never know)

Here's a post for Football enthusiasts and an ask for help

by cj592 @ 2008-01-15 - 18:19:45

... in fact the ask for help came from my boss, the HM! Which is odd because he never really talks to me.
He approached me this morning and we had a brief chat about Liverpool's performance.. Blah Blah Blah. Then he said "In fact, there is something I would like you to help me with"
My interest was piqued.
"I am looking for an ex Arsenal player that is doing really badly"
EH?
Well apparently he has a fantasy football league team made up of ex players of Arsenal- his reason being is that he was hoping the team would do badly and hence prove the point that when players leave Arsenal they get worse!
So here is my question for you....
can you think of any Ex Arsenal (midfield) players that are performing really badly this season. He may be impressed with me and make me honorary 'person you can now approach' in the staff room!
