I've got chills, they're multipliying, But that's nothing, you should see my tongue!

I went to the doctors today. I didn't particularly want to but this cold/flu thing has been going on for too long and it hurts! When I got there, the doctor had a student with her so I got examined twice, once expertly and once a little less so. Still, they've got to learn somehow.
I've been given some antibiotics to take for the next weeks and I hope they work. I have been getting chills and cold sweats at night and this sore throat is annoying! Makes it difficult to talk (and sing) which isn't great or a teacher.
I read the instructions that came with them too, something I don't normally do. The Anti biotics are used to relieve symptoms such as chills and fevers. Good! That's what I need! I've been having chills and fevers. However some of the common side effects include chills and fevers! WTF! How will I know if the chills and fevers I may have later are due to the fact that the tablets aren't working or are working?

But that's not the most worrying thing.......

ON of the most common side effects.....

according to the leaflet....

is....

BLACK HAIRY TONGUE!

What the hell is that? Am I going to end up with a tongue similar to that of a gorilla. Eeewwwww! 8|

Anyway, must go. I've ot to pluck my tongue-brow!

Spice up your life!

The Spice Girls live tour

It doesn't matter what press they get, there are always gonna be people that will either love them or hate them. For me it's about being there for the event and enjoying it for what it is... a night out with some fun music and a great show!

The Show started at 8:30- we got there at 8pm which was just right (we weren't going to bother with getting there for 6:30 and having to wait for so long)
The show started with 'Spice up your life'. The girls were on great form, full of energy. And sang a string of hits finishing the first section with '2 become 1' a lush performance involving huge Ostrich feather. It is my opinion that there are not enough ostrich feathers in pop music these days ;)

The next set of hit represented a journey, starting with 'Who Do you think you are', where the girls all came on in different areas of the stage wearing their signature costumes... and yes Geri was wearing a Union Jack dress.
Every time Posh sang anything, the crowd cheered like mad! This set included the solo songs, except for Posh who instead did a catwalk...er... walk! Scary did a version of 'Are you gonna go my way' where she dragged a bloke up out of the audience and locked him in some kind of Submissive's frame, and proceeded to gyrate all over him. Geri's version of It's Raining Men was excellent and well received by the audience! This set also included the best part of the show. The Latin Version of Viva Forever which included a seductive Tango in the Middle!
All the hits were sung, and the show ended with Spice up your life again, with a more 'dance-esque' theme in which the girls did different dances- (Including a Riverdance and a conga at the end) It was a fun energetic performance and show- ad I don't particularly care that they are not the greatest singers- they had fun, performed their hearts out and the crowd loved it.

And so did I

So there!

And what's more, it finished at 10:15 and the journey through the station, even though it was packed, flowed well! They must have learnt their lessons after the Scissors! We got home just after midnight!
