I am glad it is the weekend. Even though I have only been back three days, it has been tiring- especially as my sore throat never went, and now my voice has gone again. And there is still several people off- perhaps with the "Graham Norton Virus"- the one that makes you vomit.
My car is playing up again. On my way home something cracked under the bonnet and a warning light came on on the dash board- I was worried that I wouldn't be able to make it home, but I slowed down and did make it. Now I've got to get that seen to- which is annoying as it was only services a month or two back and it cost £500! Money is escaping from my wallet like..... a large escaping thing.
ON a good news front, we have secured the bungalow up the road and have permission for a satellite dish- all we've got to do now is pay down £100 holding fee, £75 credit check one months rent in advance and another months rent deposit. So wave goodbye to another £2000! Lucky I got that money back from the fraud department!
IN other news, my OH bought some packing boxes of T'internet. I did wonder how they would be packed for delivery? They came today. She spent minutes of fun assembling some- one was big enough for her to fit inside- which is lucky because it may come to it that we have to live inside one!
