  • That "That's life" feeling

When I was a young lad there was a program called 'That's life' on TV on a Sunday evening. As enjoyable as it was, it always held a bizarre meaning for me- for it signified the end of the weekend. I always knew that if I was watching That's Life, then it would be bed time and school in the morning, which was not really a great feeling- more like a inevitable feeling of impending doom. Even nowadays I get that Sunday night feeling which marks the end of the weekend and an impending week of work to come. I call it that That's Life feeling.

And tonight I have that feeling- as tomorrow it is back to work!

  • I predict a riot..... well more of a kerfuffle really

At the end of 2006 I made a few predictions about the year ahead.

Here are my predictions for 2007.
    1) Chelsea will top the premiership
    2) Next years Christmas number 1 will be the winner of Next years X-Factor
    3) TV will be indundated with 'celebrity' shows using more and more Z-list celebrities like Jeff Brazier and Lizzie from Wife Swap.
    4) Katie Holmes will split up with Tom Cruise
    5) The Spice Girls will reform for a one off special event!
    6) We will have the hottest/driest Summer since Records began.

    1) So Manchester United was top of the Premiership.
    2) Yep. Leon Wastospace was Christmas number 1. I wonder if this prediction or an inevitability now.
    3) More celebrity shows again
    4) Our favourite Scientology couple are still together
    5) Well they did! Woohoo. What a guess!
    6) Hottest summer still appears to be 2003 according to news sources

3 out of 6. Not bad.

And now my predictions for 2008.
    1) Arsenal will win the Premiership
    2) The christmas number one will be the winner of the x factor... again!
    3) Alesha Dixon will get a starring role in the west end
    4) The UK will only get 4 gold medals in the 2008 olympics.
    5)Westlife will split up
