I have just got in from my evening of Dancing. Tonight we did the Foxtrot and the Paso Doble. I was partnered with Norma, a very game old bird (she must have been about 65) who I think had done a bit of dancing during the war. But she was very lively and actually quite a good partner. Our foxtrot was a bit ...er... depressing. (But still it was my first time). But it is such a graceful dance - when someone else does it. But Norma was very patient and with practice we were getting the basics quite good.
And then came the Paso Doble. When it was demonstrated it looked quite frightening. But I can't believe how invigorating and enjoyable it was. I never realised how masterful I could be. Norma must have been weak in the knees It is the sort of dance that you have to act through as well. So much fun! I really released my inner Bullfighter (And not just my inner Bull- as my OH would say)

Now I just want to do it again
