After a leisurely morning lazing around in our slippers, my OH and decided to nip to Sainsburys for a few supplies. It was only as we were walking into the store that she stopped and went "Damn it".
Worried that she was feeling some pain I stopped and asked if she was alright.
"I can't believe what I have done" she said and indicated to her feet. She had forgotten to change into her shoes and had still got her slippers on. I tried no to laugh (although I didn't try very hard). What with that and the fact that she was still moving tentatively after her op, it almost looked like she was an escapee from a 'home'!!!D
IN the shops we picked up a few things, mostly fish related for our seafood risotto later tonight. However, the fish stank. And stunk everything that it touched- including us! And this......

D'you like it? It's a doctor who cake! It's for my sister in law, who has a birthday this week. And although she won't get it then we will take it down to her next week when we visit! I think she will like it
After shopping we went to the recycle point to dump an embarrassing amount of wine bottles and old magazines. Whilst we were there we overheard a guy having a conversation with a friend
Guy 1: I went to the fish restaurant last night
Guy 2: Oh what was it like.
Guy 1: It was alright, if you like fish.

Well, durr! If you weren't keen on fish, I would suggest a fish restaurant would not be top of the list. That's the nature of fish... to be fishlike!
