Firstly I ought to clarify that the title of the post refers only to the fact that the Nuns are singing. It is not a collective verb as in the sandwiches and nuns are singing. I mean a nun singing is quite usual, but whoever heard of a singing sandwich? I have never heard a sandwich sing (although I have known a few blocks of cheese that can hum after a few days)

Anyway back to today

I got up this morning with my OH, and after she had gone to work, I decided to watch a film. I watched the original version of 'The Wicker Man'. It is completely different in style to the new version, a lot more erotic! And wow, Brit Eckland! Woohoo!!! :)
After that I nipped down to the local garage to buy some supplies. The weather was so nice I even wore my shorts (which is rare for me). I bought some cottage cheese, ham and chicken to make some sandwiches- which is what I did as soon as I got home. They are now neatly wrapped up in cling-film in the fridge. Well, when I say neatly..... have I ever mentioned my love/hate relationship I have with cling-film? It is messy stuff and I am sure was invented by a woman that really hates men! I imagine women never have trouble with it- it's like it has built in gender recognition software.

Presently
I am at the moment watching Alias series 4, which I have had on DVD for ages and not gotten around to watching yet.

Later on, my OH and I will be getting the train into London to see the Sound of Music. We have been wanting to see it for ages, but tickets have been difficult to get. It will be a rush for my OH as she is working today and we will have to leave pretty soon after she gets back. Which is why I have made sandwiches. We will be having a nice little picnic on the train.

Hope everyone else is having a nice day
