Sunday drivel and lots and lots of nothing

by cj592 @ 2007-07-08 - 22:30:24

It's Sunday night and I really ought to be thinking about going to bed. There is always something depressing about Sunday night. Is that just me that thinks that?
It has been quite a nice relaxing day. I haven't done anything really. I finished Tomb Raider Anniversary, which was fun. I also caught up on the last two episodes of Heroes, which is building up to what looks like a very exciting finale. It also influenced my new choice of avatar! Nathan Petrelli! If you haven't seen Heroes yet, then you must! It will be in BBC2 soon.
Big Brother has just been on. I think I can now tell which twin is which. Ziggy is irritating me more and more. Amanda is still my favourite housemate, followed by Charley! (purely for viewing entertainment) Liam and Nicky are boring me now. And Gerry was mad to let Nicky cut his hair with those hack-scissors!
What else can I find to witter about? I have had some Jaffa Cakes. Does anyone else do the 'Full Moon, Half Moon, total Eclipse' thing (with the accent)? I do- except sometimes I go straight for total eclipse.
It has been a lovely warm day. I hope it doesnt start getting too hot. My classroom is supposed to boil when it is hot and I can't stand working in hot sweaty classrooms (with sweaty smelly boys!)

Tomorrow is Monday. Which means choir practice. AND..... I have been told that there is a dance class somewhere else on a Monday which I may try and find seeing as my Thursday night classes have finished for the summer. I do want to try and keep it up- it's doing wonders for my physique (and my deportment). But will I go? We'll just have to wait and see.
I do know taht there are some staff do's on the way- so I will have to think of some imaginative excuses to get out of them. Staff dinner- really not my scene.

I think I have blabbed on for long enough. I thank you for your patience in getting to the end of this pile of drivel, but I am sure you all have better things to do than read about other peoples lives (hah! what am I saying- isn't that what we all love reading about here in blog world?). Still if you made it this far, why not give me a wave- and I will give you a smile :)

Paying for it now

by cj592 @ 2007-07-08 - 08:49:03

Man my head is thumping this morning. B)
Yesterday I went to the cinema and saw a couple of films with 4 in the title (Reviews added). And the weather was gorgeous. I think it was the nicest day we've had in ages.
Then yesterday evening I convinced my OH to go to the pub for a meal. It's only down the road so we could have a nice drink and some nice food (not that her food isn't nice). And in a smoke free atmosphere. It was nice to see the pub still busy as well. I had mussels to start with. The waitress said "er I don't know how to spell that" and ended up writing down Muscles. I said I wouldn't mind having those either!
We had a lovely meal and some nice food and we got a little bit tipsy! Walking back home was hilarious!
When we got back I was pretty much zonked out.

A nice evening but I'm paying for it now.
