Well that was tiring.
After all the hassle last night trying to get windows live messenger only for it not to work- only to download the patch which did work eventually- only to find that my OH couldnt talk to her brother because he uses windows messenger and not live messenger, I have just spent the last hour trying to talk my OH through talking to her brother how to get live messenger on his.
Remember, this is the guy that took 15 hours to drive home after getting lost travelling SouthWest and ended up near Birmingham!
It really was stressful.
Me: Can he see your name listed
OH: Can you see my name listed
Him: What name
OH: My name
him: all I can see are horses
ME: What can he see
OH What can you see?
Him: Theres a window here
OH: Whats in the window
Him:two horses
OH: all he can see are two horses
Me: Oh that's the default icon
OH: That's your default icon
Him: My what?
and so on.....
OH: Can you see the window
Him: I can see a red box
OH: Thats good. You should have a red box
Me: No he shouldnt, thats on my screen because I was trying to figure out what he did.
Oh: Thats not good. You don't want a red box.

...
It all seems to be working now
