It is Sunday and Half Term is over. Back to work tomorrow. Yippee! I managed to get two applications out this half term, but they are not my best work so I am not holding out much hope. I am considering promotion within the school I'm in. AM I MAD?

There are a couple of Adverts on at the moment that I want to mention.
Firstly the new Irn Bru advert, with the Goths who drink it and then suddenly become life loving fun junkies at Blackpool. I really should talk about stereotyping, but I think it is such a funny ad. Especially on the rollercoaster. There is something amusing about Happy Goths. D

The other advert is the one about Spiderman Monopoly. THe way thye promote it, it makes it sound all new and exciting. But take away the trendy picture on the board and the figures (Both highly promoted in the ad), what do you get? It's Monopoly. But is this the way forard forward for board games? Lot's of movie tie-ins? What will be next? Pirates of the Caribbean Cluedo edition. "Aaaaaah It be Captain Mustard with the Cutlass in the Ballroom" What about Connect Fantastic Four? or Ker-Plunkett and Maclaine? or Uncle Buck-eroo? or Snakes and Ladders on a plane? Who knows?

'Never judge a book by it's cover' they say, and I am a firm believer of this. Plus you should always get to know someone and not to go on first impressions...... that is unless of course you are a big brother contestant and that means you are fare game for me to say whatever I like about you

And that's what I'm going to do. Here are my thoughts and rankings of the dirty dozen as of everything I have seen up to now. (Obviously favourites might change)

At the top of my list at the moment are: (1) Tracey and (2)Laura.
I didn't think I would like Tracey, as when she came in she appeared to be like another Pete. But her indifference to the guy coming in and her determination not to be a 'babe' holds her in good stead. And she has been quite caring and has held intelligent conversations. Laura has also come across very well.

Then is (3) Carole, who seems to be thoroughly enjoying the experience, despite her age. Good for her!
Then is (4)Emily, who had to put up with a tirade of abuse from Charley last night who accused her of having an offensive face. But she didnt get drawn into any arguments over it.
Then The Bubble twins, (5 and 6) Samanda. I think they are great. I want to dress them in little dresses and put them in my pocket. I think they would make a fantastic doctor who villain!
Then (7)Chanelle, who has moments of level headedness and then goes and spoils it all by acting all WAG.
Then I suppose there is (8)Nicky, who hasnt really registered with me yet.
Then (9) Ziggy. Poor guy, stuck in there with that lot. He's not impressing me with the way he is acting with the girls, but I suppose that's not really his fault- given the situation he's in. He is predictably flirting with Chanelle WAG, but is trying hard to fight off the advances of Charley and Shabnam.
(10)Lesley is close to the bottom. I thought she would be more mature, but she is acting a bit childish with her stirring, although some of the results are quite entertaining to watch.
And at the bottom is (11) Charley and (12) Shabnam, who are coming across in the worst possible way. Charley is acting up now there is a boy there and I think Shabnam is just pleased to have lathed on to someone. Shabbers needs better make up tips, and Charley needs some manners.

Still it's early days. I would imagine that if Ziggy had to choose two people up for evcition it would be Charley and Shabbers
