Did anyone see Badger or Bust on TV last night? It was brilliant! Ruth Badger, the runner up of last years 'The Apprentice'- and by far the best contestant in my opinion- has got her own show where she goes into companies and turns them around in a week. My god she is like a bull-terrier grabbing at the gonads! The boss of that company looked petrified- especially when she was determined that the floor manager move her desk onto the shop floor!
And tonight there is The Apprentice- the current series. It looks like the task is that they are given a shopping list and have to buy them at the cheapest price possible. Sounds a bit like a scavenger hunt... which leads me onto a bit of recollection...
I once organised a scavenger hunt for my local youth group. There were two teams and they each had a list of items to get.. including a gold record, a pancake and a worm. I remember the fun of that night quite well. Especially when one team had managed to get a worm (by digging it up out of the garden at night) and the other team didn’t. The other team tried to steal the worm from the first side, and I said the only thing they could do was to try and persuade the worm to cross over to their side. Watching then for five minutes trying to lure the worm over was quite a sight! A good evenings entertainment.
