The Dancing Wounded and the Four Horsewomen of the Apocalypse

by cj592 @ 2007-04-19 - 23:05:07

Oh well, here is my weekly account of tonight’s exploits.... I know you all wait eagerly for these little gems.
But tonight I am walking wounded. I have battle scars after my tussle with the tiger lady. Yes, she managed to cut my finger with one of her long false nails. I am surprised that the ends haven’t been dipped in Rohypnol as I imagine that is how she lures prey to her den.
But the tiger lady was not the only adversary I had tonight... oh no. For tonight I have woes. In fact this is the first lesson when I have come back a little vexed.
Don't get me wrong, I have enjoyed it, and there is a wonderful man turn from a cross over which is brilliant- it works so well. But...
well let me start from the beginning.... I went to the beginner’s session again. The Tiger Lady was there and this time her moaning was worse... and started immediately. boy did she go on, but I tried to filter her out.
The session was great fun as before, and then came the four horsewomen of the Apocalypse. They were, from what I could gather, a family of sorts. Four women who were obviously out for a good time. They had done the beginners class like me last time and were trying the intermediate one for a challenge. However, they were obviously less intent on getting things right as they were to getting a bit tiddly and making pratts of themselves. Which is fine I suppose.

{And now it sounds like I am going to moan... perhaps I have been bitten by the radioactive tiger lady and am now slowly turning into her... like in Spiderman}

But unfortunately, because there was a lack of men this week (again) the female dance 'leader' had to be a 'man' for the evening. Which meant that I couldn't practice the moves with a 'professional' {the other female leader was ill}. In fact I seemed to get lumbered a lot with the horsewomen... who didn’t seem to worry about whether they were getting the moves right at all. Which made it difficult for me, because I was wanting to learn and get better... but I couldn’t because of the partners I had.
I still had a good time, but I feel I didn’t do as well as I could have done :(
There, that’s my moan over. Now where’s my fake tan and false nails.... aaaaaargh!

Is that an Icon? No, it's a pickle!

What a messy git I am.

I was just eating a ham and pickle sarnie and I sneezed!

And sprayed pickle over the monitor

I like Thursdays

It is my lightest teaching day, with some primary school work.

And I get to go dancing.

Cool.
