Things to do on the Ocular Sabbath.

by cj592 @ 2007-04-02 - 16:44:48

It's Monday and today I have not gone out at all. I decided to give my eyes a rest... as in not putting in my contact lenses. my optician tells me off if I don't have a day of rest from the lenses... a kind of ocular sabbath, if you will.

But I have been busy gaming. My PS3 is positively panting after the work out I have been giving it. (Perhaps I shouldn't have put a lead on it and taken it out for a walk!). I have managed to kill the huge giant four-headed dragon woman with the glowing purple belly. I am of course referring to the game Genji, a game based on the Japanese history where obviously there were plenty of four-headed dragon women roaming around, and not to be mistaken for the similarly sounding Andy Panji, a game where you play a samurai warrior wearing blue and white stripy pajamas, and you and your partner Looby-litsu, have to fight the Puppetmaster, only to find that you and Loobylitsu have been used as puppets all along!
Does anyone else watch the credits of a game in the hope that there might be some kind of hidden scene at the end? I remember the end scene of Summoner, it was hilarious!
I hav also been playing Vice City Stories, where I have managed to finish fifteen levels of the paramedic mission, hoping to get some kind of extra health bonus- all I got was the ability to run without running out of breath, which is OK I suppose.

Now that Genji is over, It's time to start another game. Maybe I will see if Final Fantasy 12 is backwards compatible

So who said my day was wasted? HAHA

PS if anyone is at home at the moment, Totally Doctor Who will start at 5pm on BBC1.

The Arachnophobe: A poem

The Arachnophobe
A poem by CJ

Did you ever
Find a spider
In your slipper
Did you shiver
Did you quiver
Did you quake
Did you shake
Did you break

Did you ever
Find a spider
In your pocket
Like a rocket
You would fly
You would cry
You would try
Not to die
