Another parents evening; another late night

Isnt it funny the things you pick up in random conversation with people. I was chatting with someone and we were talking about my ties and how I like to keep them ncie and orderly (Which I dont think is weird) when this other guy says, "talking about things you have to do, does anyone els ehave this probelm" and he removed his socks and there on them was printed the word Tuesday. HE says "I cannot wear the wrong socks on the wrong day, does any one else have that?". Er... no.D

And earlier I was chatting to another maths teacher and we were talking about tracing paper, and how I find it useful teaching rotations with it. And she grimaced and said "to be perfectly honest, I never really get the urge to rotate anything" which is a sentence I never thought I'd hear.
