Ladies queueing up for CJ action andTwists and Turns.... but only half way

by cj592 @ 2007-03-01 - 23:19:04

I suppose I ought to desribe my wild night of dancing... even if it does mean embarrassing myself, because tonight everyone laughed at me. THis is only week 2 on the beginners course and I am already finding the turn difficult! We learnt three new moves; the Curcaracha (Which is easy- its just a side step) and the ladies turn, which is also easy, because dont have to do anything eexcept lift my arm, but then there is the mans turn... which I struggled with a bit. Thr problem with me is, I need to see it done a couple of times before I can try something, but there was no time! He showed us once anf then it was our turn! so we practiced the turn and I took it carfeully and I wahalf way round when the guy said stop- and then Inoticed that every other couple had made it all the way round and I was facing the wrong way with my arms tied around my back... at which point I said quite loudly, "Hold on, I'm facing the wrong way" WHich is when the other people laughed!
However I did get better by the end, but I still think I am doing it wrong. There are still not enough men and this time (because the dances were gender specific) the ladies had to queue up to dance with the men! I had queues of ladies waiting to dance with me! I enjoyed myself though ;)
Tiger woman was there, but I think I may have scared her off with my embarrasing turn! But 'tut and roll her eyes in desperation' woman was there making her presence felt.

But I dont care! :)

Quick note

Just a quick note before I go out dancing..... Should I take some tranquilizer darts?
