And this mornings television delights start off with....

Does anyone remember the TV show "Victoria Wood as seen on TV"? and do you remember the TV announcer played by Susie Blake, who couldn't help but give her own opinion on the TV shows?
Wll having spent the morning watching, what my OH calls entertainment, but I may describe as mindless drivel, I really wish there was a continuity announcer that would just tell it like it is. I'll do the job if no-one else wants it.

and this mornings television delights start off with our popular boot sale program "It's your crap but some other mug will buy it"

and at 10am is the design program "I may be camp but I am not gay and I can justify my job by coming round your house and critising your soft furnishings"

And at 10:30 we have that popular housing program "Lets look at some properties in some rough areas of the Midlands and try to sell them to you by painting the walls white and putting an apple on the table" followed by our popular housing overseas program "Lets look at some properties in some rough areas of Spain and try to sell them to you by painting the walls white and putting an apple on the table"

After the news there is a daily soap offering "We know each other and minor things happen"

And then into our afternoon with our popular crime drama double bill, starting with "I may only be a doctor but I can solve these obvious crimes faster than the inept police" and followed by "I may only be an author but I can solve these obvious crimes faster than the inept police"

And then it's childrens hour where lots of brightly voloured creatures that don't speak a recognisable language dance around and win awards, in a show titled "lots of brightly voloured creatures that don't speak a recognisable language dance around and win awards"

I think Susie Blake would be pleased!

Another day off together and today we are going to London. I have just booked tickets for the Giant Ferris Wheel of Olde London Town. We've always wanted to go up on that- although not bein fond of heights I wonder how I will cope.

And then we are going to do something we havent done before.....

But more on that later....
