At the beginning of the year I vowed to myself that I would try as much as I could to enrich my life. Do new things and try new experiences. Last year was bad and I wanted to try to do things to improve this one. Problem has been that I am quite shy and not very outgoing in public.
But I have tried to do something about that, and it might not be great lepas ofrward for some people, but for me this are huge strides.
The first thing I did was join the choir. I went last week, and I went again today. That's twice in a row- that's practically commitment for me
Another thing that has been badied around for a bit as an idea is to take up dancing lessons- Salsa to be precise. Now my OH is not very 'delicate' on her feet and really has not shown much of an interest in it. But I do have a female friend that was keen and she said she would like to go. Her Fiance wasn't keen either so that would suit us. But when it came to booking it, Her fiance got a bit Jealous and now wants to join us, and I think my OH got a little envious too, so she said she'd quite like to come. So it could be a foursome. I don't mind. It would be interesting to see if it ever happens though- although I am in a positive frame of mind so am quite keen.
