Well seeing as on my way to the retail park anyway- I wanted to go and see Happy Feet- I assumed that there was bound to be a shop there that will sell lights. Well al I can say is ... Damn you Tesco's! Damn you ASDA and Damn you Argos. For selling out of the twinlkly little chirstmas tree lights that I need.
Now I will have to try real shops tomorrow! I only have one major job every christmas- and that is to put up the tree. And I will be buggered if I am going to be defeated this year. I want it to look great for when my OH comes home

Damn this christmas lark! I have just spent the past two hours in stress inducing complex christmas activities. THe first hour was spent puttin up the hundred piece christmas tree, which I am sure was created by Rubix! IT has colour coded branches and must connect to the correct slot. And then I spent the second hour untangling three sets of christmas lights which seems to have linked there way together over the past year, once again reminiscent of a Rubix activity. And when I eventually did, I found that two sets didnt work! Now I have to buy some more, a thing I wish I had checked before spending on hour trying to unravel them all.

So it's off to Town now....

ANd Rubix has now been crossed of my Christmas card list
