I know Hear'say were bad, but that is just going too far!

TV presenter Myleene Klass was shot at by Taliban troops during a trip to visit British soldiers in Afghanistan.
The RAF had to scramble a fighter jet to escort the plane flying her into the capital Kabul when it came under fire.
She reveals, " I had to wear a protective helmet and flak jacket. As we flew into Kabul I could hear this massive 'thwack' on the side of the plane. Then I heard this grinding noise,

which I found out was the defence shields being put up. It scared the living daylights out of me."

I feel really bad now

I have had to tell my friend that I won't be going to her thing on Friday night. This sucks! The thing is, I agreed to do the school disco thing before I knew about the ghost walk, but they hadn't confirmed a date. And when the two dates clashed I was stuck. Talk about the Horns of the Dalai Lama!

Oh I wish I could go

So the news today is.... I have to go to the school disco on Friday. I said I would ages ago, and even though I double booked myself, the kids begged. They needed 6 staff to staff it and they had five! How could I turn them down? I am a soft touch really.

I think I may be a soft touch, as today I had to shout at my Year 7's. Year 7s!!!! They were just starting to be a little too noisy. Grr!

And the other big news is... in ten days time my OH is gonna have a new boss. Which is news that has suddenly come out of the blue. The cafe has been on the market for ages, but no-one has been interested before- it's a bit of a many pit. But this deal has gone through quickly and taken them all by surprise. My OH is head chef there and we don't know if her job is in jeopardy because the people buying it are both chefs themselves. So will the new brooms sweep the place clean? It is a wait and see situation.
