Shedding a tear in front of my mother

by cj592 @ 2006-11-06 - 22:04:46

I shed a tear in front of my mum on Sunday morning. I didn't mean to, but I must admit that when I can get really into a drama and it affects me. And Saturday's afterlife really was good. And Sad! I had to tape it and watch it on Sunday morning (my nephew watched it too, but I think it might have been a bit too scary for him). My mum was watching it in a disapproving way, as she's a bit religous and superntatural things are not her thing, as they are works of the devil! But I wanted to watch it so I did!

And the ending was really good... and sad and powerful, that I couldn't help shedding a little tear. Well done for making such a great drama, ITV! How can you surpass it?

I also managed to catch up on the X-factor from Saturday. Yippeee, Silly Hair has gone! I am not at all upset by it :DD :DD. Leona is still the best one there.

I missed Robin Hood as well, and I thought it was going to be repeated on BBC3 on Sunday- but it wasnt. So I think I have mised it! And Torchwood! But I think that gets repeated many times during the week.

... and there was no staff meeting so that was a bonus

I am still tired tonight. And I so didnt want to get up this morning- I just wanted to stay under the bedclothes where it was nice and warm.

But I had to go in, because I was in charge. Woohoo, oh the power! I think I am happy without the power at the mment though.
TOmorrow night will be a long night though, with the parent's social that I have to go to. Yawn!
But I may be let off the school diso on friday, which will be good because I have double booked myself for that night. A friend of mine is starting up a business doing ghost walks and it is her first one and she wanted some support from friends. I really wanted to go to that. Show her my support and get a spooky tour as well. But I can't go if I'm at the school disco! I will have to wait and see if I am needed. They need six members of staff for it and at the moment they have 3! When I told the kids today that I was double booked, I think they thought I was just spinning them a line- like all other teachers- giving an excuse not to go!

ANd there was no staff meeting so that was a bonus! I wonder how many of my other Monday posts have ended with that sentence?
