So we decided to go out for the day yesterday. We considered staying overnight, but things never turned out that way.
We left quite early, hoping to get the most out of the day as possible. We did notice that there was no water left in the screenwash bottle, so the first thing we had to do was to get to a service station to get some water.
There was one quite near home, the only one we knew about on the route we were going to take. When we got there, we parked up by the Air and Water section and looked around. We could find the air pump, but there was no water pump? So we went in and asked. "We need to fill up our screenwash, where is your water?"
"Oh we don't have any water" She replied.
"Oh"
"But I could get you a bucket?"
We declined the offer; I couldn't see us doing very well at trying to pour water into a small hole using a large bucket. So we decided to go to the next garage. I think it's the first time we've actually hoped for rain. so as we could clean the windscreen as we were driving.
In fact the next garage we came to was at our destination. We pulled up and decided to hunt for the water. We were surprised that we couldn't find it again.
"We need to fill up our screenwash, where is your water?"
"Oh we don't have any water". I couldn't believe this was about to happen again
"Oh"
"But there is a tap out back and a watering can in the yard." We decided to cut our losses and use the watering can. It would probably be a lot easier to direct water with than a bucket.

Anyway the day turned out quite nice. I managed to spot three of my favourite words "All Day Breakfast" and we had a wonderful lunch (Probably on hindsight, the sausages may not have been as cooked as they should have been). We spent some time shopping. There was one shop whose displays were somewhat... er.. unique. I asked my OH if people spend time deciding how to set up the displays, or whether they do it at random. She said that the displays are purposefully done.
"I see. In that case then someone displayed these mugs on purpose"
Well I won't describe the display, but I did take a mobile photo of them. See if you can see what I spotted in the mugs display.
bton2
One of the ladies serving saw me take the photo but did nothing. We popped back in later, and we noted that the display had been changed... they took the 's' away! :D
But the day was lovely. Nice and sunny! And then 5 o clock came. And with it, came the stomach pains! I really needed the loo! We decided to make our way back to ASDA and the car, but I knew I wasn't going to make it. So I rushed in to a nearby cafe and practically begged "let me use your loo" And did he let me? No! He just pointed me to a public toilet! So I rushed to the public toilet place, which was actually in a bus station. It was the sort of place that you had to pay 20p to use. When I got there, I said "Here's my 20p I need to use your loo!"
"Sure" Said the lady. "Oh, It looks like there is already someone in the gents. Don't worry, the ladies is empty"
I wasn't about to argue. She buzzed me into the ladies and I let rip! So there I was, being ill, in the ladies toilet in a bus station! And I did something I always wanted to do...... I left the seat up!
After that, and another 'attack' in the ASDA toilet, We decided to come home.
I still feel rough now.
