Defining the nature of illness and a knock in confidence

by cj592 @ 2006-10-16 - 21:12:19

I havent really talked about my day yet.
Well to start with, its Monday. And I went back to work after my sick day on Friday, and I found I have to fill in this intimidating form about my illness period. One question said "Nature of illness": What should I write: The squits? Feeling a bit eeurgh? So I went with the general 'stomach flu' (Couldn't think what else to write.)

Then I found my set work lists for Friday. One of the cover teachers had written on it. "The class claimed they couldn't so this work because they hadn't been taught properly". In my head I know that that's what kids say to about all teacher- after all I have heard it said often enough about other teachers- but it does kind of knock the confidence abit :(

But still, at least the maths club I run cheered me up. Nice year 7's come alog and play the games and puzzles set out for them. It's nice to see kids enjoying themselves.

I have written another reference and a test, but I still have two more tests to write. Thanks for all the suggestions so far fellow bloggers :). But at least there is a half term coming up.

And anotehr bonus, no staff meeting after school. Yippee!

So meez is now a meez

Testes

by cj592 @ 2006-10-16 - 17:16:33

I need to write a maths test, but I have run out of good ideas. Can anyone write a few good questions for me? If it gets used I'll credit you :D

Test:
Question 1: I am emptying MoreLearning's bath full of water. How long will it take for him to realise that I was in his bathroom?

Question 2: A train leaves York at 7:2pm. There is a police car chasing it. How many kids on the train have ASBO's?

Question 3: How many children does a teenage mother need to have before she makes more money from benefits than a teacher earns?
