Farewell to Paris and the cleanest tongue shears ever.

by cj592 @ 2006-10-15 - 19:22:59

It's Sunday evening. I am beginning to feel a bit better now, but now I have that Sunday evening feeling.

We have caught up on last nights recorded stuff. We watched stricly com dancing-poor Mica Paris :(. I do like the banter from the judges, and even Brucie can say a few good lines (if a little auto-cued) And wasn't Claire King lookin good. And Emma Baby Bunton :)

Robin Hood's second episode is still looking as camp as the first. Isn't Keith Allen small. But I am finding that guy who plays Robin's 'man-servant' a little annoying. He doesn't play an outlaw, he seems to be playing an actor playing an outlaw. And why was that ladder left outside the castle wall? And wasn't that ladder extremely well made- the logs just the right size and the rungs equally distant apart. And weren't those tongue sheers exceptionaly clean, considering their use. Perhaps they were cleaned in the same place as the peasant's clothes. And didn't it seem to take for ages for him to slide dwon the rope at the end? Everytime he got half way down, the next camera shot had him further up the rope again! Heehee.

Breakfast: The Shredded Wheat challenge and a furry alarm clock

by cj592 @ 2006-10-15 - 10:47:41

I know it's half ten, but I have just had breakfast. In fact it's the first brekfast I've had in ages. I went for my favourite cereal- Weetabix. Now I have seen that advert for weetabix where they challenge you to eat weetabix for a week, but for me eating weetabix is no challenge. If I wanted a challenge I would try and eat shredded wheat! The challenge being eating it without thinking "Why am I eating hair?"
Adverts are funny things but there is one that always makes me laugh. It was my OH's fault realy. As soon as she heard the phrase on the Iams advert, she couldn't stop laughin and now everytime I hear it, there is an image that I cannot get out of my head. It's the bit in the ad where the woman enjoys being woken up by her furry alarm clock. I know it's supposed to be innocent but it sounds soooo rude {{titter}}

A vote for a couple of burgers

by cj592 @ 2006-10-15 - 08:32:14

Last night I picked up the phone and voted (It's my phne bill... so there) I though that The Macdonald Brothers were sure to be in the bottom 2 with The Uncoventionals. Somehoe I couldn't see the public voting for them. SO I voted the for Ronald and Macburglar!

And they didn't make the bottom 2. It was The Unconventionals and Dionne (now that was a surprise). So Simon had the casting vcte- and I couldn't see him voting out Dionne- so it's bye bye Unconventionals. Which is a shame but not surprising. They were a bit too unconventional for the conventional TV viewer.

I wonder if had voted for the Unconventionals, it would have turned out differently. Nah! Probably not. I only voted once and I know that there are people who watch it who vote many many times.

There are reports that say that Ben is the favourte to won. I hope not :(
