I'm all for crastination!
The mystery of the off-turning fan.
Last night it was very warm so i turned the fan on. When I woke up this morning I noticed the fan was off. My first thought was that the electricity had run out (We are on a meter which you have to feed with cards- and sometimes we forget to feed her up)
This was about 5:40am (My clock is battery powered) and the alarm goes off at 6am which is when I turn the lamp on. And I wasn’t about to turn the lamp on at 5:40 just to check if the electricity was still going.
So I lay in the dark thinking about it for twenty minutes. When the alarm rang I felt justified in turning on the lamp. It Worked. It wasn’t the electricity that had made the fan go off in the night.
I know my OH didn’t do it, just because she never does and I certainly don't remember doing it... so I jumped to the only conclusion possible. The house is haunted! And the ghost had gotten cold in the night.
I told my OH about it and she said that I had gotten up in the night and turned it off. But I don't remember doing it. Normally if I do something in the night I remember (It's normally my OH that ends up forgetting my antics... something about not being memorable) but I really do not remember getting up and switching off the fan. But I must have done.
Still, we have no ghosts... or we may do, but they just didn’t get cold that night.
Has anyone else ever done things in the night and not remembered it?
