Do my clothes need to be labelled?

by cj592 @ 2006-09-03 - 20:17:04

So it's Sunday night. My uniform is clean, ironed and labelled, the school bags are packed... no wait.. thas was Sminchins blog.

But it is Sunday night and tomorrow I face the 'clients' Thankfully tomorrow should be OK. I just hope that someone has sorted out which Form I am having. I have my first IT lesson tomorrow as well.

Today I have written my two reviews of films I have seen. They are Adrift and the Wicker man in case you haven't seen the review. There were a couple of kids in the queue, no older than 14 but they tried to pass themselves off as 18. And the ticket guy let them through!

Other than that I have done very little today. Just watching some crap TV again. And drinking quite a bit of tea.

PS if any of my friens doesn't want to hear about my days at work, just let me know and I will remove you from any firends only posts that I may write. I tend to moan, but you don't have to listen. I won't be offended!

Which Useless man are you?

by cj592 @ 2006-09-03 - 14:47:15

You are ONE USELESS MAN
You are ONE USELESS MAN
Take Which Useless Man are you? today!
Created with Rum and Monkey's Personality Test Generator.

You are ONE USELESS MAN, an overbearing dictator who loves ranting and food. Technology advances make him happy, despite thinking the machines are still run by mice or midgets. Not that it matters, since you believe God is in charge of all creation, and if He wants to crash your computer, He'll send lightning to fry your hard drive. Mostly, if you are ONE USELESS MAN, it is because you are a closet jerk. A happy-to-hide-behind-the-closed-windows-of-your-Metro jerk, but still a jerk.

September: Great for positive thinking, elephants and school chickens

by cj592 @ 2006-09-03 - 12:44:59

It's now September and now's a chance to see what this month has in store for us.
For Example, September is National Chicken month and National School Success month, so if you are a chicken at school you are doubly blessed!
But also there are some interesting days to celebrate.

For example....
September 4th is Labor day in America
September 6th is read a book day. So if I start one that day I may get it finished by next September 6th.
September 7th is 'Neither rain or Snow' day. Although it doesn't really say what will happen if it rains or snows.
September 11th is Make Your Bed Day. I am glad that I have one day in the year when I can make my bed. It has been getting a little smelly!
September 13th is Positive thinking day and Scooby-Doo's birthday!
September 15th is make a hat day. I think I may try to make my own Bowler Hat!
September 22nd is Elephant appreciation day. And about time too, as those Elephants are really unappreciated. And the one thing you don't want to do is make an elephant feel unappreciated. After all, they can remember grudges for a very, very long time.
September 27th is crush a can day, unless you are Stu Francis then it's crush a grape day!
and lastly on September 30th we commemorate the invention of the safety pin. It is hard to forget how before then, pins were considered dangerous!

So there are loads to look forward to. Personally I'm looking forward to 'bigging up' those elephants and for it not to rain or snow on the 7th.
But we've all got our personal favourites.... :)

Church, Champagne and Crouch

by cj592 @ 2006-09-03 - 10:24:11

I went out on Friday night and it seems I missed the biggest comedy on TV that night. The Charlotte Church show, although I don't think it was supposed to be. I would have burst out laughing if I'd had seen this...

The 'Crazy Chick' singer fell over a cable after performing the theme song for The Charlotte Church Show, and promptly swore loudly.
She exclaimed: "I can't believe I f***ing fell! I hurt my knee. What an embarrassment. I've scagged my tights."

Did anyone see it? Did they show it? If not I imagine it will be on a 'It'll be alright on the night' in the future. Talking of which, does Dennis Nordon do anything else, or do ITV keep him locked in a cupboard and only wheel him out for that show once a year?

One thing I have been watching is The X-factor. Well why not? Looking back in mypast blogs (in fact this time last year) I was blogging about the X-factor then. They are still doing the auditions rounds, which are lot more fun to watch. There was a group(two girls) who I think were called Twice as Nice. They wre dressed as tigers and sang 'The Lion Sleeps tongight' very badly... for that reason alone I was praying that the judges would put them through. They would have meade the next stage worth watching. There was also a guy there who clained his name was Champagne! Champagne as a name. I think he was a bit absent minded as he had two pairs of sunglasses. And it was indoors! I always think it is ridiculous when someone wears one pair of sunglasses indoors, but to wear two pairs is just asking to be ridiculed. Simon said "Champagne! You're flat!"

And I can't go a blog without mentioning football. And Peter Crouch! England one 5-0 against an angora rabbit (or something) and Crouch got the first and last goal! Gerrard and Defoe also scored. Anyone else wanna join the Peter Crouch fan club? haha
