2815 steps and a good dump

by cj592 @ 2006-08-11 - 17:55:47

'Tis Friday. And our redundancy letters should have been sent today. Only 38 days later than we should have- if you remember it should have been July 4th- redundapendence day! So we shall see when they come. The pessimist in me is expecting to hear that there is a problem, but if the rumour is true that the trustees are being held to ransom over the deal because we are still on the payroll then it is not in there favour to keep the letters any longer than they need.
We have been to the dump today. There is so much junk and old clothes cluttering up our loft space that we thought it was about time to get rid of some of it. Straight to the dump- where there are recycle bins for all you environmentally friendly people out there. It was only a dent into what we really needed to get rid of but it's a start. And it gives you a good feeling when you know you've made progress.

Another feeling of progress was when I completed the online text adventure. I did it in 2815 moves! Here I am on the high scores table- You will notice that I am on the top! Although I see someone did it in 539 moves! Clever clogs!
Book-wise I have finished The Resurrection Casket and am now reading Map of Bones which I am enjoying thoroughly.
PS2 wise- I have finished Spyhunter at last. I bought it 5 years ago! but I got stuck on an early level and threw it aside in a fit of temper. but I have recently pulled it out (oo-er) and played with it up to a satisfactory conclusion. What should I play now?

I have written my last entry in my Derby Holiday saga. I can't believe it was only a week ago, it feels like ages. But I am glad we didn’t decide to fly anywhere this week.

There is one week left in the Big Brother house and tonight sees the return of an ex-housemate. This has been a controversial decision seeing as many people have paid good money to evict the housemates so they couldn’t win and now one of them has a chance. I would be gutted if I had spent money on evicting Nikki only to have her back in. But luckily everyone I voted for, never got evicted. Or should that be unluckily?
