The Chinese state Circus was great (even better because they were free complimentary tickets-given to my OH because the shop where she works advertises it). The Shaolin Warriors were OK but they did look like bald men in orange jumping around- just like those BBC intro blokes. My favourite bits were; the hoopjumpers- its amazing how exciting it is watching grown men jump through hoops. Atone point the guy missed and the audience went 'aaah' when he tried again and he did it, the audience went 'Yaay'. Another good bit was the pole jumpers. Its amazing how quick and easy they make it look. they run up the poles and hang off them as if there was no gravity up there. A good fun afternoons entertainment.
but this evening I found I had some time to kill and I found this text adventure site. I did the intro one easily, but then I tried the Fantasy Quest and I have been wlaking around it for ages. What do I do with the Yuck Yuck leaves? or the volcano? or the gnome? Anyone want to have a go and try it?

The House of Jabbing Syringes

Today my OH is off and we are going to the circus. SHe got some compimentary tickets from work (Dont know why) for the Chinese State circus which is in Hastings at the moment. We went last year and it was fascinating. And before anyone objects there are no animals, just lots of Acrobats and balancing, and the biggest pile of chairs ever. They have advertised some Shaolin warriors, so there should be plenty of 'house of Flying Daggers' style sword-play. I will let you know what it was like.
At the moment she is at the doctors getting her blood taken. I hope the nurse has had more practice since when she did me a fortnight ago. I still have a huge bruise on my arm. It looks like I am a battered husband! Perhaps she is in training to be a Shaolin warrior herself. From the House of Jabbing Syringes.
Other than that I am expecting a peaceful day.
What are your plans for the day?
