D'you remember when.... 2

by cj592 @ 2006-07-23 - 21:55:40

I'm going to try and resurrect an old Blog game... D'you remember when...?

If you read this, if your eyes are passing over this right now, (even if we don't speak often) please post a comment with a COMPLETELY MADE UP AND FICTIONAL memory of you and I.

It can be anything you want- BUT IT HAS TO BE FAKE.

When you're finished, post this little paragraph on your blog and pretend to be surprised (or mortified) about what people DON'T ACTUALLY remember about you.

Dem's de Breaks!

by cj592 @ 2006-07-23 - 21:43:18

Now that the schools have broken up for the summer break perhaps now is the time to take a break and go to the pictures. Because breaking into the cinemas this week are two groundbreaking films hoping to break the box off ice records. There's The Break Up and Stormbreaker. But how can I break it to you- neither of these are set to break records, in fact the Break Up hardly made me break into a smile. You'd be better off breaking into your piggy bank, buying a copy of Take a Break and reading it over breakfast.
Oh well, dem's de brakes!

To buy or not to buy

by cj592 @ 2006-07-23 - 09:50:16

We have been looking at places to buy and there is a house we quite fancy. They are asking £179,000 for it but I think I am going to offer £170,000. I was considering £168,000 but my OH said that is too low!
It's a nice little cottage with parking and a garden. It will knock about 15minutes of my journey to work next term, and it will mean getting out of this renting/blackmail situation where my OH won't ask for the raise she is due because they will put the rent up!
There is one big problem. The deposit. We have just got enough for a 5% deposit and a few expenses, although it is never clear exactly how much is needed. However I have this issue with my wages, as in I don't know if I'm going to get paid this onth, next month or how the P45 issue will resolve itself for September. So I will need my savings to see me through the next few months.
It's a conundrum
