A Painful Journey

Beware the Child of Yore
Beyond the Red Mill Door
Where once the charms of rage
Could nestle in the page
And hang the latter smile
To sit and wait a while
For tomorrow shall bemoan
The brood arranged in stone
And cannot live to goad
The way, a painful road
May harm and witness still
This time, to end it's will
That sounds good. You know, when you enjoy speaking some poems? x

Don't know about the English teachers, but I think you've hidden the meaning quite well - does it have a particular one, or is that open to the critic's interpretation?
