Why are christmas decorations so complicated? Some of my christmas tree lights failed to work and I found that one of the bulbs had blown. "Thats OK, I can go and buy a replacement" I thought. Do you know how many different types there are? all different sizes, voltages and wattages. There should be just one type! It should be called 'a christmas light' and you buy it and replace it. Easy! But no! I now have to hunt for the right one.
And Baubles. Is it just me that has this problem? I buy baubles and then spend ages fixing thread to them so I can hang them to the tree. Why dont they sell the baubles with the threads on them? It's quite simple really.
Anyway, spent a lot of today cleaning. Chucked some rubbish out of the attic only to replace it with more junk from around the house (Which will probably only be chucked out next year and replaced by more junk). My philosophy is, if I havent missed it all year, I can probably live without it. I have also got a few things to try and sell in a car boot sale- videos mostly, that I have replaced with DVD's. Does anyone want the complete set of Babylon 5 Videos?
