OK. It's been ages since I talked about Eastenders so here goes. Is it just me that is impressed by Lacey Turner (who plays Stacey Slater). She is turning in a terrific performances she copes with her 'Bi-Polar' mother. Today especially she had a run in with a chavette( pregnant, smoking) and she called her 'Vicky Pollard' haha. It was some good script.
It kind of makes up for the fact that Frank Butcher is back and has slept with Pat again. How many times has Frank turned up, I thought they killed him off once? Or did he fake his own death in Spain?

I hope everyone is enjoying my Magritte pictures. I wonder how it is pronounced though. I keep thinking of Little Britain and the Mr Man (Pirate Memory game) sketches. The shop owner always shouts up the stairs "Margret.. Margret".

It was Christmas Dinner today at School. As staff we are supposed to sit with our forms, so I sat with some very nice sixth formers and had a turkey dinner. It was all very polite and a little uncomfortable. Even the well thought out and richly humerous Cracker Jokes couldn't lift that 'atmosphere'. Still, I did my duty, wore my slightly too small (and therefore ripped) paper hat, delivered the jokes, poured the drinks and marvelled at the wonderful novelty items from the crackers. I still don't know where I am going to display my new plastic car-shaped thing.

Unfortunately the politness disappeared later in the afternoon when the pupils read their reports- and then they find out what we really think of them! Suddenly mischevous looks turn into murderous stares as some pupils realise that this christmas they are the ones that are going to get stuffed!

Still it's nice to be home.
