It must be nearly Christmas. I have got my first christmas cards from students. Aaah! I must admit if it weren't for the cards I get from students, my card wall would be quite empty (apart from the complimentary one from the local motor dealer garage)

In the news today: Can't think of a gift to get your new baby? Why not give him some Stem Cells. They can keep them and maybe they will help cure some diseases later in life.
I can imagine if I gave a kid a jar of stem cells, they would probably shake it around thinking it was one of those snow globes.

JK rowlings has claimed that she wants to kill Harry Potter off in the final book. This is probably all well and good seeing as by the time the film will be made, Daniel Radcliff will be close to dying of old age himself.
