I got home early today- About 4:30. For the first time this term I haven't had a meeting on a Monday evening.
When I got home I switched on the TV, as normal. And Blue Peter was on. They were making Christmas some tacky handbag charms and pompoms. And I had to laugh as they went totally wrong! Ha ha. Do kiddies really make these? And what would you say if you got one?
Then during Newsround they had a competition to win an early showing of the Christmas Doctor Who. All I've got to do is write a short essay, find a kid and force them to write it in their handwriting, , forge a birth certificate so that I can claim 'responsibility' for them and send it in. Easy!
Then, whilst I was watching Eggheads, I was surprised to see Eugene from Big Brother as a contestant! It's been ages since I've seen him. He so Should have won! I mean, what has Anthony Hutton done since? (Apart from getting drunk)
And now for my dilemma of the day: I hope this doesn’t offend anyone. The other day I got a call from some company; a call centre in India. I'm not sure what they wanted because I could not understand what she said; she had a strong accent and spoke very fast. Is it offensive to say to them, sorry I don't understand what you are saying? At the end I just said I was too busy and hung up!
