  • Take That and Hysterical Teenage Girls

Take That! (Come on come on come on Take That... and Partay)
They have got back together again. But without Robbie Williams. And why would they think that Robbie would join them? He has become a lot more famous than any of the others (Ken Barlow, Michael Owen, Howard the Duck and Oranges and Lemons). Has any of those done a voice over for the Magic Roundabout? I think not!
But I was always a Take That fan. I even saw them on tour.. the one where they had Lulu join them to do re-light my fire! It was such a great show!
And I also remember the day they split up. I was working in a girls school and I had gotten into work and heard all this wailing coming from one of the classrooms. The girls were in tears! "Oh my god!" I thought, "Someone has died" But when I did my 'concerned adult' bit, thats when they told me "Take that have split up" and they continued to cry hysterically"
    Teenage Girls! huh!

    Take That

So what is your favourite Take That song?

    Mine would be .... Satisfied!

  • Twas After Assembly....

How to desribe my lessons today. I will use an old poem

`Twas brillig, and the slithy toves
Did gyre and gimble in the wabe:
    All mimsy were the borogoves,
    And the mome raths outgrabe.

Which most people think are the first few lines of Jabberwocky, but really it was written by a teacher after a difficult year 9 class!

    And here is the translation:

Twas Brillig....... It was after assembly
And the Slithy Toves ..... Needs no translation!
    Did Gyre ... Did Moan
    And Gimble ... and Whinge
in the wabe .... in their seats
All mimsy were the borogroves.... All rubbish were the test results
And the mome raths ... And the Wrath of the mothers
    Outgrabe... Got me fired!

Haha. Not really. I have had quite a good day today.:D But still it is good to be home
